Grab a fashionable city, add a garden, throw a pergola and plant some veggies.
You got yourself a wonderful rural cocktail called Erba Brusca.Serve hot or cold, day or night, for brunch at the garden or candle-lit dinner inside.

Great spot for those who are in Milano and are overdosed with the city’s sheer overload of poised chic stuck-up sophisticated BS of fashionness.

If you are overfashioned, take a bike, a car or the tube and go to Alzaia Naviglio Pavese 286, in the southern outskirts of the city.
Enter a blissful joint where you can relax over Brunch in the garden, a bush away from the veggie garden that filled your plate.

Once we were installed under the pergola and after careful examination of their menu, we opted for a serious serving of protein.

Kathryn tried the burger and I had the the eggs benedict. I have to admit I was a tad jealous of her choice. Not that there was anything wrong with the eggs. It’s just I remembered how much of a carnivore I am.

Our stomachs full and happy, we moved to the garden and chillaxed in the red loungers for a while, waiting for the coffeine to kick in and the sun to inject some vitality in our tired bodies. By the way, they serve free americano, my favorite kind of bad coffee.

Then this buddy came to tell us it was time to get our bottoms off his playground and get going.

All in all, a truly great find. Bravo to the team of friends who decided to rebel against the urbanity of it all.
For the love of healthy tasty food.
Food as an experience.
The garden as a refuge.
